On June 30th, Resilience From Within was named one of only 11 winners worldwide in Ashoka’s prestigious Power of Local Challenge — a competition that drew over 900 applications from innovators around the globe.
This was no small feat. The selection process was rigorous, with multiple stages of review and only the most impactful, innovative, and locally rooted initiatives making it through. From the first application to the final evaluation, our work stood out for one reason: our ability to create lasting change from the ground up, powered by the communities themselves.
